Jonathan “Jonny” Finn
Most Canadian kids his age have dreams of a career on ice in the NHL as a professional hockey player. However Jonathan Finn’s career goals were far from what most would consider typical Canadian.
The oldest of two boys in a military family, Bushell Park, Saskatchewan Canada was a very challenging environment to develop as a young road racer when the race season is only 4 months long and the cold of winter can drop to -40°C. This did not deter Jonathan’s determination to pursue his dream of one day racing at the world championship level.
Jonathan first experienced life on a motorcycle at 6 years old and during his first year racing he was dragging knee towards his first of 4 Canadian National Championship titles. During his career, Jonathan has competed and experienced success racing throughout Canada as well as abroad in the United States and Europe.
Jonathan and his family moved to Spain in 2017 to compete Jonathan is continuing his racing career in the Spanish RFME Campeonato de España Cetelem de Velocidad Moto3 series. Jonathan continued to represent Canada and North America successfully for 3 years while racing Moto3 in Europe.
